THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE FUTURE

The future looks bright ahead;
No more sorrow...no more dread,
No more times of being misled,
Truth and Life will reign instead.

He took all the pains, hurts, and agonies of the past
And rolled them into a large Shepherd's bag.
After turning them into nothing but ash,
He threw them into the sea with a large splash.

Today is a brand new day with brightness!
Will there be anymore excuses for the plight?
Will there be any darkness in the night?
No...only uprightness, excitement, and sunlight.

The future looks bright ahead
Because one tremendous day, there was BLOOD shed.
As someone once said, it's like an eternal scarlet thread
Has forever brought us together to the King's table all spread!
