My Heart as a Poet

My Heart as a Poet
To Karen From Tommy

We must walk freely, my Love.

Any fences must be torn down.
Our true feelings must be spoken to each other!
We must love as the warmth of the sun.
Our faith and love to each other are incredible!
Our huge beacon of love yearns for the other…
We know that heaven awaits us someday.
We take heed. We love. We embrace.
We are not blinded by our own deeds.

Our hearts are no longer alone in the park.
We have rescued each other from the dark!
No fear is in our hearts!
Our responsibility…our promises we keep.
We are through with heartache and blame.
We have truly learned how to love one another!
We believe in the other!
The path is bright ahead.

You, my Love, have brought life and breath into my soul.
I honor you! I love you! I cherish you!
Faith and Love have compassed us.
We are free indeed!

Our hearts are again soft, tender, and gentle as can be!

Our wells are full.
Our lights do shine!

The angels are looking on…
They sing.
The heart of this poet lives on…

Within the velvet walls of your heart, I am alive!
You are a well watered garden…
You have blossomed into a beautiful Princess!
Your bouquet of faith and honesty grows strong.

Your walls have come down like the ancient city of Jericho.
You will always be welcomed in my heart forever and always!
