Our Journey Together...You & I

As we travel down the road of life,
We follow with our two hearts together.
We keep our dreams in front of us.
We know the direction that we are going.
We have learned to notice the road signs along the way.
We KNOW who we are and where we are going.
The road under construction will not slow us down.
We have learned from our mistakes.
The road may have many curves...So what...
We will NOT be delayed for long.
We will arrive at our destination on time!

Sometimes, we must slow down and proceed with caution.
We refuse to be distracted by Nay Sayers and tailgaters.
We are in the driver's seat...
We will be happy because we choose to be happy.
As we travel the open road at our own casual speed,
Our destination is always in our minds, thoughts, and spirits.
Occasionally, we do ask for directions.
One-way streets do not cause us concern
Because we KNOW there is only one direction to go...Forward!
Right now, we are traveling in the friendly territory of Love,
Because we both know that this road will lead us to our destiny.
